Denver Cost of Living Comparison

For a city of its size, Denver has an exceptionally low cost of living. Many have chosen to relocate to Denver because though it's a big city with all of the big city conveniences, it is also close to the mountains and just an hour and a half drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. Few major metropolitan areas feature the ability to quickly get away from it all. Relocating to Colorado is also gaining popularity.

Downtown Denver real estate is also gaining steam as a hotspot: next to a river and mountains, it has exceptional natural beauty. Denver's top downtown shopping is largely focused around an area called the 16th Street Mall, down which a free electric shuttle runs every few minutes to take shoppers to their next destination without the hassle of parking. Denver also enjoys an easy-to-use light rail system which helps remove congestion from downtown, allowing those who work downtown to drive to a parking lot and not worry about struggling with downtown parking as they might in some major metropolitan areas. This kind of green thinking and sustainability will be crucial as Denver experiences a surge as a result of relocation.

Colorado enjoys beautiful sunshine year-round, even during snow season. It is a popular sporting destination and features many great venues for a variety of activities, many within a short commute to downtown. Denver has a great light rail

Denver and Colorado are clean, enjoy healthy economies and an excess of housing, and have a population of young, healthy citizens. It is predicted that one million people will relocate to the metro Denver area within the next decade. This will create a boom in the housing market and investing soon might be advantageous, as Denver real estate is still very affordable for a city of its population.
