There are many unique neighborhoods in Denver that makes this capitol city unique. The most trendy neighborhood is the Downtown/LoDo (or Lower Downtown) area, which is home to many swanky lofts, restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues. LoDo is known to be a hip party spot after Broncos and Rockies games; there is also a 16-block shopping/eating district next to LoDo called 'The 16th street Mall'.
If you are interested in living in a more well to-do neighborhood in Denver, Cherry Creek can't be beat. This Victorian-esque includes high-end shopping centers that house such stores as Louis Vuitton and has many gated communities. As for leisure activities and local flavor, there is an annual art fair in the shopping district and you'll find it very easy to live an active outdoor lifestyle here; people enjoy biking, walking, and jogging on the Cherry Creek pathway which weaves in and around the area.
Many of the other old, historic neighborhoods that surround Cherry Creek and Downtown/LoDo include Barnum, Clement's Addition, Highland, Park Hill, and Wellshire. These areas (and several others) exemplify the unique style, history, and beauty of Denver and the surrounding mountains. As Denver continues to grow and flourish, so will its distinctive neighborhoods, which are the livelihood and pulse of this growing city.
