Auraria Real Estate

Auraria is one of the most characteristic neighborhoods in the city of Denver. Its historical city center is a fine example of beautifully restored architectural heritage gracefully blending with tree lined streets and well maintained public facilities. What was once considered a tiny neighborhood of Denver soon became one of the fastest growing town in the 1970's and 80's.

Such an astonishing pace of expansion is indebted to a significant renovation of Larimer Square and LoDO along with the setting of three of the most recognized educational institutes around a single large complex. Most residents love to reside in historical condominiums in beautifully preserved buildings. Due to their splendid location, these Auraria condos and townhomes demand anywhere from $30000 to $50000. A little further north, Auraria home prices reduces to an average of $180,000. In fact, this patch of Denver Real Estate is still considered one of the best values in the region that provides access to multiple entertainment venues, shopping malls and outdoor activities near the Cherry Creek and Platte Rivers.

In 2004, the city was honored as a Sports town by the Sports Illustrated Magazine. It also has an ingenuous network of transportation which includes a light rail with planned connection to commuter rail and an easy access to the nearby I-25. The main highway interconnects such popular spots as University of Denver, Six Flags at Elitch Gardens, Anschutz Medical Center and the Pepsi Center. The nearby Horseshoe Park, Sand Creek and the Coal Creek Arena are a testament to the Rodeo Crazy State whereas The Starz Film Center and the Aurora Fox Arts represents one of the finest examples of a love story between Denverites and its deeply imbedded art culture.
